“Christian volunteered to help EMERGE recently. I found his input to be incisive, highly intelligent, agile and intuitively reassuring. Initially as a result of his keen interest in waste recycling and sustainability issues he offered to help me, as CEO, in terms of sales and marketing management. The need to focus on this increased following our merger with another recycling company late in 2013 when the founder of the acquired company took on a role focusing on the commercial side of the business. During this time the development of a joint working culture had also been proving challenging over a number of months.

Chris is a very sophisticated communicator, he puts others at ease within seconds, and is able to talk quickly and effectively about this issues at hand, with depth and certainty whilst equally leaving scope for others to have their say. Within the space of a couple of hours, we had ‘outed’ issues which had hampered our professional relationship and moved swiftly on to suggestions about how we might manage operational things differently, both strategically and specifically in terms of sales performance. My new colleague moved from being resistant to having the meeting (at the outset) to being bowled over, describing the outcome as a ‘revelation’! Consequently, my colleague requested further support from Chris on Business Development and Sales matters, which I’m delighted to say, he’s agreed to do.

Chris supported the redevelopment of our website, advising us with equal ease about technical and marketing related aspects.
